General Re-New England AssetManagement Inc., a unit of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire HathawayInc. (BRK/A), hired Alverne Bolitho as managing director for U.K. andEuropean sales to help start an office in London and expand thefirm’s business in Europe.
“This is a relationship-driven business and we areconfident that Alverne will be very effective at building thelong-term relationships that are the cornerstone of oursuccess,” GR-NEAM President Bill Rotatori said in a statementdistributed by Business Wire.
